An acoustic roots reggae session recorded at The Green Ark (a.k.a. Alan's music room) in Motueka, Aotearoa/New Zealand - mostly Alan's songs, plus a couple of chants, etc.

Ras Levi + Helen, Saan, Matthew, Alan, Alex, Ras Judah
(a gig at Hot Mama's, Motueka, playing most of the same material, a few days later)

Matthew - saz, handclaps
Alan - vocals, guitar, percussion
Helen - recorder, melodica, vocals, percussion
Saan - vocals, percussion
Ras Levi - vocals, percussion
Ras Judah - vocals, percussion
Alex - percussion

All songs (not chants) by Alan, 1-4 written in Belgium, 5-13 written in Ireland.
Ras Judah sang lead vocal on "Jah Light", Helen led the Goddess chant. This session was to put together a CD for Alan to sell while out busking. The finished product can be heard here.

Here's what we were doing the previous afternoon.

A few splices were used to create some of these pieces (most of the songs were played three times during the evening, Alan and I spent the next morning choosing the best bits).
